Lewis Café is a business built on tradition and family. Established in 1938 by Virgil Lewis, who built the business through hard work and great
service. Lewis Café has continued to rely on these principles through the years.
In 1973 Fred (Virgil's nephew) and Marie Short bought the restaurant, and in keeping with the traditions started by Virgil, Fred and Marie worked tirelessly to make Lewis Café a place of great food and great service, all the while raising 4 sons, whom all worked in the restaurant. Chris Short, Fred and Marie's son bought the restaurant in 1995. He is now married to Tracie Short. They too, are bringing-up their children to work in the restaurant.

We at Lewis Café know the importance of family and we strive to give a family friendly enviroment. All of our beef is home grown on our farm and
and is guaranteed to be fresh and cooked to your satisfaction. In 1996 Chris and Tracie started raising their own cattle for beef at the restaurant.

Food is cooked using vegetable shortening, NO PEANUT OIL.All of our beef is home raised and hormone free.
